Ok, now Dave is starting to get the Grasp of things.

One of the stated objects of the event was to allow all participants to actually try the Hololens while Dwight was giving his presentation.  Here, Dwight is measuring eye-pupil separation for correctly setting the alignment for each participant.  (The same tool that your optometrist uses to measure for your eyeglasses.)
